PODCAST FEATURE WITH GENESIS WOMEN’S SHELTER & SUPPORT

I had the honor of being interviewed by Maria MacMullin on the Genesis Women's Shelter podcast, where I shared my passion for supporting therapists and caregivers and helping professionals as they navigate emotional burnout, perfectionism, and specific pain points like navigating broken systems. We dove into the unique challenges of those in the business of healing—who so often put their own needs last—and how essential it is for helpers to engage in community care because we are hurt and heal in relationships.

As a therapist for therapists, I know firsthand that we can’t self-care our way out of systemic burnout. But, we can create spaces for real healing, set sustainable boundaries, and challenge the hustle culture that tells us we must do more to be enough to re-discover the joys of being a healer.

Grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting Genesis Women's Shelter & Support and the incredible work they do for survivors. I am excited to share this conversation with you!
